2008 Events:

Garrett Park Nursery School 42nd Annual Craft Fair
At the Historic Garrett Park Town Hall
You can view a map and get directions here.
This will be my 6th year participating in this wonderful fundraising event. It is an entirely all artisan event and a percentage of all artists sales go directly to the school. The Town Hall is a cozy and intimate venue. Come and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping hot cider and munching on GPNS famous bake sale treats (my favorites are the chess bars and the peppermint bark!). I hope to see you there!

About Amy Abrams Jewelry

My jewelry is inspired by earth elements and feminine motifs. I began making jewelry in the early 1990's after a fateful trip to the library led me to discover a book about bead weaving using tiny glass seed beads. Over the years my passion for the beauty and detail of jewelry has led me in new directions and opened my eyes to different techniques and materials.

Most recently I became certified in the technique of using Art Clay. Art Clay is a cutting edge material, developed and manufactured in Japan by Aida Chemical Industries. It is made from fine silver (99.9 %, sterling is 92.5%) particles, a natural and non-toxic plant cellulose binder and water. I am very happy to note that Art Clay is manufactured from silver that is recycled from industrial processes and is manufactured with minimal impact on the local environment.

All of the materials I use in my work are genuine stones and pearls, sterling and fine silver, gold fill, vermeil (22k gold over sterling silver) and in some cases high karat gold.
